Introduction, Info, Stuff you probably won't remember in five minutes! Woohoo!

Why hello there!
So I've already done a small intro post, but I suppose some extra info about my life and all that jazz won't hurt.

Ummmm lets see....

I work in an art shop and make and sell art on the side, as well as doing a creative course in college. As you can see I quite enjoy making things. If I was to choose a favourite art medium it would have to painting. I love the feel on the paint on canvas and just how easy it is to be free and none caring with it.
I do a lot of digital art and sell it and do commissions on my instagram.

Family is pretty average sized, Mom, Dad, myself, brother and sister. And two cats! Their names are bubble and Bela and I love them so much they are the best. I think I like them more then my own siblings.

Favourite module last year had to be studio Photography. I absolutely adore it. I loved learning about the different ways to light up your image, and just learning how to take really nice aesthetic shots of people and different products.

Some of my favourite books....
Fangirl by Rainbow Rowel . that book has such a special place in my heart and you can tell by the condition of the book that its been passed around and well loved.
I also read a book last year called
Grace and Fury by Tracy Banghart
I would definitely recommend it, I was so hooked I didn't even realise when I got to the end and *Spoiler* was left on a huuuuuuuge cliffhanger.

favourite TV shows have got to be,
Good Omens, Grey's Anatomy, Voltron Legendary Defender and Queer Eye. They are definitely my go to shows on my time off.

I don't really get that time off to be honest, between work, college and ballet. Ive been doing ballet for 15 years now (a long time I know ) studying grades and professional levels with the Royal Academy of Dance in London. Currently on grade seven level an studying grade eight at the same time. I'm also studying at intermediate professional level.

So that's enough information about me for now

  1. Hi Alex, I just read through your intro and I love it. I really dig art myself and amazed you sell your work. I'd love to see some of it some time. I find it intriguing you have done Ballet for so long and on top of have reached a high level in your field. Like you, I enjoyed the photography module last year and learned some really useful techniques for myself. I really enjoy your blogs decor and all of the colors it has.

  3. Well Hello there to you Alex.

I did so very much enjoy reading your blog about yourself and wow with all that stuff that you do now and again, it must be very tiring. I do a good bit of book reading myself and I may look into your suggestions on what you have read in the past. Also, the decor and writing of this blog is absolutely splendid and I will very much enjoy to read more blogs from yourself. Disasterful reviews, more like Artist-ful reviews.

    Cheerio!!!

  4. Hi Alex,

I tried looking for the other introduction post you talked about but couldn’t find it. That’s so cool that your art is good enough to be sold. I wish I was good at art. I have never watched Grey’s Anatomy but I know a lot people who also did really like it so I might have to watch it at some stage. I didn’t know you did ballet. That is really astonishing that you have been doing it for 15 years as well. I look forward to reading your future blogs.

  5. Hey Alex,

Ok, I knew you did Ballet, but I never even considered how long you must be doing it to be doing your Grade 8... FIFTEEN YEARS? You must have toes of steel by now.

Studio Photography is such an addictive thing. I think the fact that it's so controlled and you can alter every detail to be the way you want it makes it so endearing.

    Nice blog!

  6. Howdy Alex.
This is a nice introduction blog post. It's really cool that you're into art. I've always wished I could draw well so it's awesome you're able to make some money off your own work. I also really like Voltron Legendary Defender too, it's great. (Hunk in best boy) And the fact you do ballet is really awesome too. I can't wait to read more in the future.

  7. Hi Alex
First things first is the ballet. The fact that you have been at it for fifteen years now is impressive I had heard you did ballet before but didn't know you been doing it for so long good to know your enjoying it at least. As for the whole loving your cats so much I can relate while I myself am not much of a cat person I differently feel the same way about my two dogs.

Enjoyed reading the post keep up the good work

  9. Hi Alex
I just read your introduction blog and really enjoyed it. Fair play doing ballet for so long , as I hear it takes a lot of patience as well as strength and endurance.I also enjoyed photography last year and have been trying to get into it more in my free time as a hobby. I am also now currently saving to invest in some equipment to improve my camera game not only as a hobby but also in other ways such as college I am trying to invest in getting a new lens for more reach when filming and taking pictures, a tripod for stability and a shotgun mic for audio when making future videos.

Anyways I loved reading your introduction blog and learning more about you and am looking forward to reading more in the coming weeks. Keep up the good work.
